AIRPORT INFORMATION, PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & TRAVEL TO GLASGOW
Glasgow is served by 3 Airports:
Glasgow Airport (GLA- 15 min travel from the city centre). There is a regular shuttle bus and it is easy to travel between the city centre and the airport by public transport. Glasgow Airport does not have a railway station but Paisley Gilmour Street station is just one mile away by taxi or bus. From Paisley Gilmour Street, there are regular trains to Glasgow Central, from where you can reach easily the hotel district, congress centre, and travel further afield.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK-40 min travel). Glasgow Prestwick has its own railway station with connections to Glasgow Central. Other public transportation is also available.
Edinburgh Airport (EDI-1 hr travel). Regular shuttle buses run directly to Glasgow city centre bus station. Trams (new service) run from the airport to Haymarket-Edinburgh railway station from where there are frequent trains (15 minute intervals) to Glasgow Queen St station in the city centre.

The official language of the Congress is English.
EXHIBITION
A professional technical-scientific exhibition will take place during the Congress.
LETTER OF INVITATION
Upon request, the Secretariat of the 83rd EAS Congress 2015 will send a personal invitation letter to participants. This invitation is meant to help visitors to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa, and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support. Please visit the contact us page and email your request with full name, postal address and passport number.
Unfortunately we are unable to send invitation letters directly to consulates. Invitation letters are prepared solely for individuals and are mailed directly to them.
Kindly note that due to a high volume of requests it will take up to 14 working days for the letter to be ready. Please take this into consideration when applying for a visa and ask for the letter in advance.
ACCREDITATION OF THE CONGRESS
An application will be submitted to the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) to provide accreditation by the following CE activity for Medical specialists. For more information please click here.
